It may seem I’m starting this article with aggression from the title, however, there are a lot of people still playing for marketing degrees, especially those who don’t need to.

Within the curriculum of marketing degrees, half of it is based on your own ability to be data-driven and creative — although they can be taught, they are skills you will already have. Not ones that the university needs to give you.

With this being said, this is why I (these are MY opinions) think marketing degrees are bullshit.

Why Am I Saying This?

This isn’t because I want to discourage people from being in the marketing field. 100% not, it’s best if it's suited towards you. I love my job and everything I do, and you should too.

This is because a lot of people are wasting money, especially in a practice which you don’t need to be wasting money on. All the resources, pieces of information and knowledge can be found on the internet.

Yes, I’m sure that some of the professors have background and knowledge, but the case is that there is always someone better being able to give knowledge on the internet — and it’s all for free. You don’t need to spend £10s of…
